13.20 miles Outlook Avenue	Outlook Ave: From the stoplight at the intersection of Rt 8 and Church St, take West Mountain Rd west for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Outlook Ave. Proceed 0.9 miles north on Outlook Ave to AT crossing. Roadside parking for 2-3 cars is available on the left (west) side of the road approx 50 yards south of the Trail. 12/17/20 (revalidated September 2023) --- Overnight parking is not recommended. 12/17/20 --- Cosmo Catalano --- 2023
14.00 miles MA 8 - Cheshire	The AT crosses MA 8 in Cheshire 0.5 miles north of the intersection with Church St. and West Mountain Road. This is the official southern end of Section 2 and the northern end of Section 3. There is no parking available here. Parking is available at the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail. (See Mile 0.6 of Section 3.) --- Rotate the street view to see the northbound trail. It leaves from the left side of the road just to the right of the dumpster. The southbound trail is less clearly visible, but can be seen by rotating the view to the south. As I recall it goes through the strip of trees next to the fence in the view.
